Stephan is the founder of marketing2grow. After a 15 year corporate career in international marketing and growth development with globally recognized brands in 5 countries, Stephan decided to pursue his professional activity as an independent marketing development consultant.
Stephan held various marketing management positions with companies such as TDK, Energizer and Archos with local, regional and global focus and specialized himself in the development of strategic, organizational and operational marketing. A diverse experience with a core focus: develop value propositions for customers, drive growth, revenues and value.
Throughout his career and lately as a consultant, Stephan has used and applied the marketing 3.0 concept, offered as a service with marketing2grow.
Most recently and among other projects, Stephan has developed the market analysis, feasibility study, business plan, marketing plan and go-to-market strategy for a start-up planning to launch a hybrid IP video receiver, PVR and home server. Driving personalization of TV content with innovative interactive customer engagement solutions resulted in venture capital funding agreements for the start-up of a new company and brand.

Prior to this achievement, As Director Worldwide Marketing for Archos, the hardware technology leader in mobile and portable entertainment, Stephan developed the global marketing organization and introduced mass consumer marketing techniques to direct the transition from a niche early adopter to a mass consumer market, allowing the company to grow from €50M to €100M+.
As Vice President Global Marketing for TDK Mediactive Inc., Stephan directed the integration of a US acquisition and turn-around management into TDK’s interactive entertainment division. Building on his development experience, Stephan directed the development of the global marketing organization and global marketing strategies for console video games based on Hollywood movie and major toy licenses such as Dreamwork’s Shrek, which resulted in profitable revenue development from start-up to US$ 50M in 3 years.
As Marketing and Communications Manager for Energizer Inc’s European headquarters in London , Stephan lead the European centralization and harmonization of the Primary Battery Strategic Business Unit’s marketing and product portfolio management. Reporting to Worldwide Marketing in the US, Stephan was also a contributing member of the ideation and innovation team based in St Louis. As Advertising and Marketing Communications Manager Europe for TDK Recording Media, a Tokyo based corporation with European headquarters in Luxemburg, Stephan developed and directed the implementation and strategic execution of European marketing centralization involving 20 European markets.As a result of his success in centralizing European marketing, Stephan was given the task of integrating the French distributor into a fully owned subsidiary with turn-around management that resulted in a market leadership position within one year.
Stephan completed a BA of International Trade from EDC, a French Business School and graduated from the University of Dallas, Texas, with an MBA in International Management and Marketing. During his studies Stephan carried out several practical internships with globally leading corporations in the United States and wrote a thesis about marketing development for Mercedes-Benz of North America in New York. Stephan truly is an international and multicultural marketing development and leadership professional, fluent in English, French and German, and experienced in several international management styles.
